Giant cakes that are suitable for a sweet gift or for crispying with a good coffee. The recipe does not require much time.

Chocolate contains more than 600 substances that have a positive effect on health. Thanks to them chocolate has numerous properties and nutritional values. They protect against diseases, stimulate the immune system and improve mood.


  • 100 g butter
  • 155 g wheat flour (I used wholegrain flour)
  • 1/3 teaspoonful of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g white and bitter chocolate
  • Mixture of nuts: hazelnuts, walnuts, cashew nuts, cashew nuts.


Remove the butter from the fridge about an hour before baking. During this time, crush the chocolate and nuts into small pieces. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Mix the butter with the sugars to a light, fluffy mass. Add egg, maple syrup and mix for another 5 minutes. Then add dry ingredients – sieved flour and salt. Finally, add the crushed chocolate and nuts and mix thoroughly. Form large balls from the resulting mass and gently flatten them in your hand. Put it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake for about 15 minutes until they brown nicely. When taken out of the oven, they will be softer, but when they cool they will become more brittle.
