There is nothing simpler to prepare and at the same time as delicious as French fries. The recipe contains a healthy, dietary and tasty version of this delicacy prepared with parsley and celery. It is certainly healthier and in taste even better than the standard potato version. Such fries can be served as a snack, a separate dish or an addition to other dishes. It is also worth to prepare a yoghurt and dill dip.
Parsley root helps in digestive system ailments and many others. Parsley is known for its high nutritional value: it contains a lot of vitamin C and beta-carotene. It strengthens, cleanses the body, improves skin and mood.
- 1 large celeriac
- 5 large parsley roots
- olive oil
- salt, hot peppers, Provencal herbs to taste
Peel vegetables and cut them into sticks for chips. In a large bowl, mix them with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and your favourite spices. Spread the contents of the bowl evenly over the prepared baking tray with baking paper.
Bake in the oven for approx. 30 minutes at 180 degrees with thermal circulation. The baking time depends on the thickness of the vegetable poles, so control the baking time so that smaller pieces are not burnt.
