Chicken in sesame marinade with tahini paste, honey and chili with the addition of nuts is a delicious proposal for a quick chicken dish. Its crunchy crust and sweet-spicy taste will convince every gourmet.

Seasonal paste has a lot of energy value, is a rich source of calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium. Sesame oil, which is a component of tahini paste, contains omega-6 fats, flavonoid phenolic antioxidants, vitamins and dietary fiber.


  • several pieces of chicken legs
  • a handful of nuts (e.g. cashew or walnuts)

Ingredients for marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons of tahini paste (sesame paste)
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • dash of chilli

Tahini paste can be easily bought in larger supermarkets at the world cuisine stand. You can also make it yourself by roasting sesame seeds and then mixing them together with olive oil into a homogenous mass.


First prepare a marinade. Combine honey, tahini, oil, soy sauce and chili. Marinate the chicken for at least one hour in the resulting marinade. After this time, sprinkle the crushed sesame seeds and mix everything thoroughly. Put the whole on a baking tray with baking paper.

Bake in 170 degrees for about 30-35 minutes until the chicken is baked.
