A delicious cocktail of mango and orange can be a way to consolation and a bit of exoticism and sunshine.

Numerous studies on mango show that it can prevent the development of certain cancers, as well as lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels. In addition, it will relieve sore throat and hoarseness.

Ingredients (4 portions):

  • 2 mature mangoes
  • 1 orange juice
  • 1/2 glass of cold Greek yoghurt (may also be natural)
  • 1/2 glass of milk (or coconut or almond milk)

Preparation:

Peel the mango and cut off the whole flesh from the stone. Put the pieces of fruit into a blender together with orange juice, yoghurt and milk. Mix everything together to a smooth mass. It’s good to make yoghurt cold, the cocktail tastes better then. The mango is sweet enough, but you can also sweeten it with a little honey if necessary.

If you like, you can add coconut or almond milk instead of regular milk.
