Some people say that these are avocado French fries. Indeed, the fried and sauced pieces of avocado resemble French fries, but the taste is completely different. There is one more similarity to French fries – you can’t break away from them….

Avocado is a rich source of vitamin E. We can also find vitamins A, B1, B2, C, PP, K, H, pantothenic acid and folic acid. From mineral substances it contains calcium, potassium and phosphorus. It is also a good source of fibre.

Ingredients:

  • 1 matured avocado
  • 1 egg
  • ½ glass of breadcrumbs
  • dash of chilli
  • a pinch of salt
  • frying oil

Ingredients for dip:

  • ½ glass of natural yoghurt
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Wash and peel the avocado and cut it into strips about 1 cm thick. In deep plates, prepare an egg with salt and chilli and breadcrumbs separately. Dip the avocado pieces in egg and coat them in breadcrumbs. Put the prepared avocado into a hot pan with a bit of olive oil and fry on each side for about 2 minutes. Drain the avocado from the fat on a paper towel after frying.

Prepare the dip by mixing yoghurt with a cloves of garlic and a little bit of salt, pressed through the press.
