A salad with mayonnaise cannot be missing on the Easter table either. A quick and easy to prepare green peas salad is a perfect solution.
Peas are rich in vitamins from the B group (among others B9, i.e. folic acid) and vitamins A, C, E and K. In addition, it contains a lot of iron, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium and calcium (vitamin K facilitates calcium absorption).
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of green peas
- 6 small canned cucumbers
- cooked eggs (1 half per person)
- 5 slices of ham (Parma for me)
- 1/2 small red onion
- chive
- 1 teaspoon of horseradish
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- salt, pepper to taste
Preparation:
Drain the peas from the liquid and put them in a large bowl. Dice the onion, chives, cucumbers and ham. Mix all this together in a large bowl. Then season with mayonnaise, horseradish, salt and a little pepper. Before serving, put the boiled eggs on top, you can also sprinkle them with a chive for decoration.
