The combination of sweet and dry ingredients in this salad is an ideal combination for a good dinner.

Lamb’s lettuce contains three to four times more beta-carotene and vitamin C than lettuce.

Ingredients:

  • 3 handfuls of lamb’s lettuce
  • gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/3 glasses of walnuts
  • 1/3 glass of dried cranberries
  • 1 large, hard pear
  • half a glass of pomegranate seeds

Ingredients for dressing:

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • a few drops of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid honey
  • pepper and salt

Preparation:

First rinse the lamb’s lettuce thoroughly and dry it on a paper towel. Roast the walnuts in a dry frying pan. Cut the pear into medium-sized cubes. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients: lamb’s lettuce, pear, nuts, cranberries and pomegranate seeds. Make a dressing combining olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt and pepper and add to the rest of the ingredients. Mix thoroughly. While serving the salad, add pieces of gorgonzola cheese to the top.
