Halloween parties wouldn’t have been possible without pumpkin dish. Tasty pieces of roasted pumpkin hokkaido will be ideal for a small snack. The hockkaido pumpkin can be found in virtually any larger shop. It is much smaller than the regular pumpkin and its advantage is that it does not need to be peeled from the skin. It is also sweeter and tastier, it tastes especially good after baking in the oven.
Hokkaido pumpkin is a large amount of carotene (it has a good effect on eyesight and protects eyes from the harmful effects of UV rays). Vitamins B1, B2, PP, C, A. Phosphorus, iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium.
Ingredients:
- 1 hockey pumpkin
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- thyme or other favourite dried spices
- salt
- pepper
Preparation:
Wash the pumpkin thoroughly and cut it in half. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and pulp. Cut the cleaned pumpkin into slices about 1.5 cm thick. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin pieces with garlic, spices, honey and olive oil squeezed through the press.
Bake on a baking tray lined with baking paper for 20 minutes at 180 degrees until soft. Tasty!
