This dish may not be the quickest in performance, but for special occasions you have to prepare something special. It will surely impress as a main course.

Steak beef contains the least saturated fatty acids of all red meat. Beef steaks also contain little calories. Beef steaks are a rich source of protein and iron as well as vitamins B1 and vitamin B6.

Składniki:

  • pumpkin quarter
  • 1 tablespoon of cream
  • 1 pack of fresh spinach
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 steaks of beef
  • 2 medium sized beet
  • thyme, rosemary, chilli
  • honey
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • pepper and salt to taste

Preparation:

Cut the pumpkin at the beginning. In a large bowl, mix it with thyme, salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. When the pumpkin is baked, prepare spinach. Put two chopped cloves of garlic, chilli and salt on the butter and add the carefully rinsed spinach leaves (I also added a handful of dried tomatoes). Fry together for a few minutes until the spinach becomes flavoured and reduces its volume. Then cut into thin slices of beetroot, spread them on baking paper, sprinkle with honey, sprinkle with salt and rosemary. Put it in the oven when the pumpkin is baked.

Bake for 10 minutes in 180 degrees. Then blend the baked pumpkin with a spoonful of cream, salt and pepper. Heat the pan with a spoonful of oil and place the steaks on it. Fry for about 4 minutes on each side. After frying, wrap the steaks tightly for a moment with aluminium foil.

Remove the beetroot from the oven and spread on a plate, then put a layer of spinach and decorate the pumpkin puree, put the steaks on top and season them with pepper and salt.
