Ingredients:

  • sausages from Vienna
  • pastry
  • 1 egg to spread the dough
  • Sesame seeds, Provencal herbs

Preparation:

Spread the puff pastry on the top and cut into rectangles of about 15 cm. Place one sausage in the middle of each rectangle. Then cut the edges of the dough crosswise every about 2 cm. Put alternately layers of dough strips on top of each other, tightly closing the meat inside. Spread the top of the dough with broken egg and sprinkle with sesame, Provencal herbs or other favourite spice.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. A light tomato salad or simply ketchup or mustard fits perfectly with the sausages prepared in this way.
