Vegetables can be used to prepare a tasty cure. In the period when there is access to young vegetables, such a prepared dish will be not only healthy and rich in vitamins, but also very good.
Cabbage contains as much vitamin C as in lemon (its depth has the most). A set of vitamins from the B group, a lot of vitamin A, some vitamins E, K and rutin.
- 1/4 of the head of young cabbage
- 3-4 red peppers
- 2 sausage loops (e.g. for hunters)
- 6-7 young potatoes
- 2 green courgettes
- 2-3 young carrots
- 2 onions
- whole peeled tomatoes (canned or fresh – scalded and peeled)
- 1/2 jar of tomato concentrate (optional)
- 2 glasses of water
- dash of chilli
- salt to taste
Cut the sausage into slices and fry it together with 1 onion cut into cubes in a pan. Wash all vegetables thoroughly and cut into larger cubes, onion into feathers. Put the fried sausage and onion into a pot and add: potatoes, carrot, paprika, cabbage.
Pour 2 glasses of water over everything. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. After this time, add the courgettes, mix and boil for another 5 minutes. If the liquid is not enough, add some water while boiling. Then add tomatoes and concentrate, season with chilli and salt.
Cook another 3-5 minutes and you’re ready. It tastes best on the second day when all tastes will be lost.
